Christ is risen, Alleluia

We attended 10 am mass with Father Fred. He invited all the 3rd graders of the congregation up to the front and proceeded to tell the story of Easter from the bible. He asked them what their responds would be if they were the ones to find the tomb empty. Some of my favorites were "O My stars" and "The scriptures have been fulfilled". Very smart 3rd graders! It was such a blessing to celebrate the Risen Lord with all of our family. I can not believe it has been 9 years since my whole family came into the church on Easter Weekend! Praise God

Easter Prayer of Praise

Blessed be the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In His great mercy
He has given us a new birth
to a living hope through the resurrection
of Jesus Christ from the dead
and to an inheritance
that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading.
It is reserved in heaven for you,
who because of your faith in God
are being protected by His power
until the salvation
that is ready to be revealed at the end of time.

Both sides of our family came over to my parents home for an Easter dinner to celebrate!

Baskets from the Easter Bunny

PawPaw and PopPop took the boys on a walk so the Easter bunny could visit our home. They both fell asleep on the way home. The anticipation was killing us, we all had to wait for the boys to wake up before we could begin the hunt.

One egg decided to hide in Jeff's pocket.
