38 Weeks

Mr. Pumpkin at 38 Weeks

Palm Springs

Last weekend I took a 24 hour trip to Palm Spring with a few girlfriends. It was such an adventure! We all had a great time, it was really nice to have the weekend off. I forgot to take pictures, but I did manage to capture a few of the backyard landscape. Thank you Lori for letting us stay at your family's gorgeous home. I thought Palm Springs was beautiful and I would love to go back for an extended get away some day. This Texas girl just goes crazy anytime I see palm trees and mountains.

I think Mr.Pumpkin liked Palm Springs too, I had quite a few contractions while we were there. Not sure what brought them on but I had a few ideas......it could have been due to our car breaking down on the side of the road, the superheros that came to our rescue, the heat, lack of water, the extra large greasy grilled cheese I devoured at dinner, the yummy pineapple juice we had by the pool, being carsick, the cartwheel I turned on the golf course, or the crazy amount of laughing that took place. Whatever it was it did not stop us from having a great time! Thanks Ladies for a fun weekend!

Gotta Love BuzzLightyear!

La Habra

Last Wednesday we took a trip to the La Habra Children's Museum. We had such a fun day playing in the toddler area, crafting some tissue paper flowers, checking out the farm animal exhibits, seeing the train, and riding the carousel. I think the most memorable part of the trip with be this crazy mom that would not remove her child from the rooster on the carousel. Luckily Miss Lori let her know what was acceptable Children's Museum behavior :) (or in Ben's words "that lady not nice" hehehehe). Thanks guys for a fun outing!

37 Weeks

I had my 37 week doctors appointment yesterday morning. Everything went great, she said I was measuring right on track for my May 8th C-section. Baby's heart rate sounded great and he is moving all the time....big surprise knowing what I know about my boys. Doesn't seem like this little guy is going to be any more mellow than my other two little crazy men. Speaking of.......Mr. Nate is climbing over the back of my chair as I type! This lady told me the other day she had always heard if you had three boys you are going strait to heaven! I told her it will hopefully at least take a few years off my purgatory time hehehehe.

FYI.....I love having boys and it gets a little annoying when people say " o you didn't get your girl"...like the only reason we had a third child is to have a girl or like I want to send him back or something hehehe....people are so funny! I am sure I would love having all girls too! The whole point is you have no control over it and I am just so happy for whatever God gives us!

Anyway, I feel very blessed this pregnancy had gone so smoothly! It has been the best out of the the three. I am starting to slow down, but all things considered the boys keep me going!!! We all can't wait to meet the little guy. Everyone keeps asking if I am ready for three......not sure if you are really ever fully prepared for the first, second, third, etc.......but I am really excited to meet the newest member of our family. I am enjoying these last few weeks because I know this is the "easy part". I am savoring my sleep ;) I have really enjoyed this pregnancy! I am praying for a healthy BABY!

After my appointment we headed to Disneyland with some of our little friends, we ended up staying 6 hours. We had so much fun....it really is one of my favorite places....makes me feel like a little kid too. I love that about being a mom of toddlers....seeing everything through their eyes!

who knew throwing your hat and dancing could be so much fun

LA Arboretum

Friday we ventured to the LA Arboretum in Arcadia with our friends Missy, Cade, and Maia. This place was so much fun, the kids spent hours running around. The weather was beautiful and the flower fragrances were amazing (a preggo girls dream, I have been obsessed with flower smells so I thought I was in heaven). We saw several waterfalls and peacocks roaming the grounds. We finished the day with a tram ride around the whole park. This is a perfect place for toddlers as well as adults, I am hoping to go back in May when my parents are visiting.
