Newport Boat Parade

Wednesday our friends the Helmars took us out on their boat to see the Newport Beach boat Parade. The boats looked incredible and all the homes off the water were just fabulous! It is amazing to me how well the boats are decorated!! The kids had a great time too. Nate loves riding in the boat and he was really interested in seeing all the Christmas lights. Benny was a little more interested in ....WHY he had to wear a winter jacket and a life jacket....not his idea of a good time. Once I took his big coat off he had much more fun.

It Is A BOY!!!!!

We are very excited to announce that Mr. Pumpkin is a BOY!!!!! I have been calling him a boy all along, I just wasn't sure if I was doing this because that is all I know or if I really felt like it was a boy. Luckily we were correct in calling him a MR. We are all thrilled and can't wait to meet the little guy. They said he looked great...and boy was he active.

Bella Terra Christmas

Monday I took the boys up to Bella Terra for their Christmas Festivities. They got to sing Christmas songs and play instruments. Nate got really excited when they busted out the bag of bells, tambourines, and shakers.

So we tried out a new bounce house place in Huntington....it was so much fun! I still haven't found anything as good as Bonkers out here, but this place is great. I can't wait to take the kids back again on a raining day.

Christmas time at Disney

So Wednesday was a really fun day....although we did not get to find out if Mr. Pumpkin is a boy or a girl....we did get to go to Disneyland! The boys did such a good job at the doctor they deserved an afternoon of fun. The weather was brisk but it was actually really nice! We are enjoying our weekly visits.

We should find out this next Tuesday if Baby Nickell is a boy or girl.

This is one of Nate's picture spots in case you are wondering why we have so many. He always stops and wants to take a picture with the scary guys. He really wanted a picture with Jafar (his latest scary guy obsession...also the name he has chosen for Mr. Pumpkin) but we didn't see him out. I have only seen him at Halloween so Nate may be waiting a long time.

A Visit from Santa

Last Saturday our sweet friends Nina and Chris hosted a Christmas gathering! We started off the night with a home visit from Santa. The kids were very excited but a few of them were less than thrilled. Nate was the first to sit on his lap and he was a little shy. He didn't say much but really enjoyed getting to see Santa. Ben was not really interested in sitting with Santa this particular evening. He was much more interested in sitting with his friend Maia who was also a bit afraid of Santa. The kids played, we enjoyed yummy food, and then finished the night with a walk around Balboa Island to see the spectacular Christmas lights. Nate with SANTACade, Santa, Jack, and Nate
