The Friday before we left Dallas we headed to Plano for the hot air
balloon festival. It was pouring rain and lighting, so we decided to turn around and drive to Grapevine for
Grapefest. Aunt E and Jeff joined us for the festivities. We enjoyed some yummy wine, great company, and fun kids activities. I love downtown Grapevine!
We ran into our buddy Canon and his sweet parents. Benny had the best seat in the house, on
PopPop John's shoulders.
I had to
take my picture with Eli at this bar in downtown Grapevine. My parents used to take me here when I was a baby.
Evidently I was quite the bar hopper as a child, I even frequented Billy Bobs. I think
Juee and
PopPop know how to have a good time :)
