Santa Monica and Redondo Beach

Monday we headed north and took Mimi and Papa Dave to Santa Monica Pier. We rode some rides and did some exploring. Afterwards we went to Redondo Beach for lunch with an ocean view.

Sunday we rode on the mini trains in Costa Mesa, visited with Santa, stopped off at Fashion Island,went out to a yummy lunch and checked out the Newport boat parade. We are loving having Mimi and Papa Dave here!

Mimi and Papa Dave flew in from Dallas for Christmas week. We are all so excited to have them here! We have been very busy showing them around Cali...many more pictures to come.

Christmas Party

Last week we had a little Christmas Party with the boys and their closest friends at a Park in Huntington. My sweet friend Nina brought all these fun Christmas crafts for the kids to make. Thanks Nina!

Nate is the Big Brother! As the oldest he sets an amazing example for Benny and Eli. This little boy loves people and loves getting out. The first thing he asks me each day is where are we going and who is going to be there. He does not have a lazy bone in his body...he is a very hard worker. He can be very serious and shy at times, but when he is in his silly mood this boy can laugh forever! Nate has a very kind heart and is quick to think of others, very intuitive for a four year old. His favorite colors are green and red. When he grows up he wants to be a Daddy and Woody from Toy Story.

Benny is Mr. personality....you can tell he is the second child. He is very easy going about so many things, but he definitely has an opinion. He is great at sharing and he loves playing with others. Benny also enjoys his alone time and can entertain himself for a long time. He has a little crazy streak in him. This mixed with his ability to charm makes it very hard to get mad at him. Benny can make anyone laugh. He makes every activity entertaining. This little boy can melt your heart! He loves cars, dinosaurs, monster trucks, and painting (most of the time on himself). He looks up to Nate so much and wants to do everything he can do.

Little Eli is the youngest of our three boys. He is just such a sweet little guy. He wants to keep up with his older brothers more than anything. He is always following them around the house or play ground. He loves balls of any type and is quick to point them out and say "BALL". He loves to sing and dance, he has some very impressive moves. He could sleep anywhere and we haven't found a loud noise that scares him yet. Mr. Eli is very attached to his Mama. He is also my best eater, this boy will eat almost anything.
