The Best Mother's Day Present

Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day at the hospital. I could not have asked for a more special day, I am sure this one will be hard to beat. Not only did I spent the afternoon with my three precious little men, but Brian and I both had our moms here to share in the celebration. GOD is GOOD!
Enjoying mom's hospital cake, they called "Mr. Pumpkin's Birthday cake" Nate loves holding his new brother
Grandma Juee holding her new grand baby
Mr. Pumpkin brought Nate and Ben gifts to the hospital.....they went over very well!
Mimi holding her new grand baby
Nate and Ben enjoying some snacks from the nurse
I am so very thankful we got to spend Mother's Day with our MOMS! They were such a tremendous help this weekend, it was wonderful not to have to have any worries while Brian and I were at the hospital. A special thanks to PopPop John too! I feel so blessed to have our family here to share this special time with us. I am also so thankful God has given me the gift of being a Mama to THREE precious little boys.....it just doesn't get much better!

Nate and Ben meet Eli

Nate and Ben were so excited to meet their new brother. They got to come to the hospital twice the day he was born. Poor Nate was asleep the whole first visit so they came back a second time in the evening to meet Mr. Pumpkin. Both boys were very excited to see the little brother we have been talking about for so many months!

Welcome Elijah Thomas

Mr. Pumpkin has arrived! Elijah Thomas Nickell was born this past Saturday May 8th at 11:57am. He weighed 6lbs 13.5 oz and measured 20 inches. The biggest Nickell baby to date ;) He is a precious gift from God! We are so excited to finally meet him. We feel very blessed the delivery was so smooth and Baby Eli is healthy.
It just continues to amaze me the capacity we have to LOVE! Meeting Mama for the first time
Sweet Mr. Pumpkin
Getting Weighed
It is bright in here!
Daddy cutting the cord
The super cool suits the Dads get to wear!

The nurse actually reminded Brian to leave his cloths on underneath the suit....this means someone has done otherwise hehehehe. This got me laughing so hard I was crying!

We off to see the lizard!

Nate has been marching around the house the last few days singing.."We are off to see the Lizard" and it is stuck in my head. Nate and Ben always keep things entertaining ;)

We are really off to Meet Mr.Pumpkin this morning! Please pray for us this morning at 11am! I can't wait to meet my third son (Nate, Ben, and Brian are pretty pumped as well)!

Brian's team at work made him this adorable diaper cake!

Back Bay

Today we took the boys to play in the back bay with their friends Cade and Maia. Grandma Juee and Mimi are both here from Texas and they got to join in on the fun! PopPop John gets here in the morning, we all can't wait to see him. The boys are going to have plenty of company and entertainment while Brian and I are at the hospital with Mr. Pumpkin.

No Lifetime Pass

So we found out that if you go into labor at Disneyland your baby gets a lifetime season pass. I thought this was an awesome idea...we really did our best the past few weeks to get Mr. Pumpkin his lifetime pass, but no such luck.

Still in the same boat as I was for Nate and Benny.....no labor....not even close. I decided the silver lining to this is..... I get to enjoy every minute up until I show up for my C-Section in the morning. The downside is the recovery, but I think I have become a fan of just showing up and getting to meet the baby. It is just one of those things you just really don't have a lot of control over.

We are all sooooooo excited to meet Mr. Pumpkin ,we are scheduled for 11am :) I am just praying for a safe delivery and a healthy baby boy. The doc said she thought the baby would be 7 to 8 lbs, but I am not so sure. We started a little height and weight pool, so if you want to join submit your guess as a comment. We will just have to see who wins in the morning! Nate and Benny are pumped about getting to be big brothers.

Below are some pics from Disneyland this Wednesday and this past Friday.

39 Weeks.....looking as big as a castle ;)
