Fathers Day

We had an awesome Fathers day this year! Brian got tickets from Honda for Toy Story 3 at the Downtown Disney theatre. We have all been looking forward to seeing this movie for months. Brian and I have both said we feel like these characters are a part of our family because the boys are so into Toy Story. The movie was so funny! I even cried a few times, I could see Brian's eyes rolling! All three boys behaved perfectly, it seemed so easy (this is how much they liked the movie).
I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful loving husband that is so involved with his kids. Just seeing their faces when he comes home from work says it all! He has been so great about giving me a break in the evenings and understanding that being a stay at home mom you work 24/7. He isn't even afraid to take all three boys at once! Thanks Brian, we love you!

Also Happy Fathers Day to my wonderful Dad, Pop Pop John and Brian's awesome Dad, PaPa Dave!

Newport Nature Center

After MiMi and Aunt B left we were on our own as a family of five. I am so very thankful that we had family here the first five weeks to help! So thankful that I asked my parents to come back in July :) hehehe. It didn't take too much convincing since the weather in TX is 100 degrees and they miss their grand babies like crazy. So they are going to spend the fourth of July with us as well as Nate's Birthday.

I have had about three weeks on my own with the kiddos during the day and I am proud to say we have gotten out of the house everyday (with the help of my awesome friends...thank you Missy and Lori for my sanity). Now that I know I am capable I am ready to relax again ;)

These pictures are from an outing to the Newport Nature Center. Eli enjoyed the hike from the ergo carrier (which I love, it has been a life saver, Mr. Pumpkin has been hanging out in it almost everyday.)

Japanese BBQ

We took Mimi and Aunt B to one of our favorite restaurants here Gyu-Kaku....or I guess I should say she took us there....thank you Mimi for a WONDERFUL dinner! I thought the night went pretty well for dining out with three kids under four. Nate love the kid chopsticks and grilling the meat. Benny had a great time too, once MiMi ran out to the car and got his cowboy hat :)
I miss our Thursday night dinners with MiMi and Papa Dave.........the good old days :)

Boat Ride

Also when MiMi and Aunt B were visiting we went out for an evening cruise on our friend's boat. The kids all looked super cute hanging out in their life jackets. Thank you Helmar family!!!

Redondo Beach

San Diego Zoo

While Mimi and Aunt B were here we took a little road trip to San Diego to go to the ZOO. I have always heard how fabulous this Zoo is and it did not disappoint! It is beautiful and unlike any other zoo I have ever been to (I am not really a zoo person, but this place it like an arboretum). Brian and Aunt B love zoos as much as the kids do, so it was the perfect activity! We all had an awesome time, I think the favorites were the snakes, tigers, and the pandas.
Afterwards we went to dinner on Coronado Island with Rachel, Mikey, and P ;) (as Nate says). It was so nice to see some Cali Coppelians. Baby Eli did pretty good for his first road trip!
